Poster of the Month - August Nominations

Post by Guest on Thu 02 Sep 2010, 10:36 am

Well, who posted the hits over the August period? I will abstain from a vote as I was largely "incommunicado" for the month, though DerbyGinge may want to vote for me as I suspect my August posting was the most he's ever agreed with me.

Yes i'll vote for Yojimbo, his break from the forum was very pleasing. :lol!:

In all seriousness, no one has particularly stood-out this month unless someone did an amazing post while I was on holiday. Dunno

Swadieram has made a lot more of a contribution this month with some insiders knowledge so he'll get my nomination.

it seems people dont pay attention to the whole of the month, only the last few days, which is disappointing cos some posters dont get the credit they should. IN August, there can surely only be one deserved winner and that is NER.

NER gave us such articles that required reaction, such as "2 games in and doom and gloom", and "give a dog a bone", not to mention the discussion about Nigel leaving the Coventry game early.

My nomination goes to NER. (honourable mention to Calif Rammette too)

RRC for me, although she dont start many threads her contribution to each new one is always well thought out and she also, like Barney/myself and a few others, appear to be "invisible" when its nomination time.

I know exactly what you mean RJ . Some of us post consistently and treat other members with the right blend of respect and apathay and hwere does it get us. Others come on once a moth add a few smilies to the end of their posts and hey presto they are nominated as poster of the month

"...that little hint of naughtiness..." MY ARSE!!

    He's a bad apple!
He's sarcastic, rude, argumentative, simply for the sake of being argumentative, stubborn to the extreme, mardy, and not to mention, a little on the short side.

Why I seriously consider him for a nomination every month, and why he always seems to be in my top three, I have no bloody idea!! Dunno

Maybe it's the chubby cheeks, maybe it's the permanent glint in his eyes, I just don't know!

Every time I see him, I can never remember whether I had planned to slap him, or give him a wet sloppy one on the cheek, but I know it's never somewhere in between.

Yes, he is a little tinker, isn't he Rob!!

If we ignore, we only hurt more and fail to read honestly, first ourselves, and second, others true concerns and wishes. Are you ignoring? Making up lies in your life? Or are you facing your hurts honestly, expressing your truest concerns and wishes? Do you allow people to read honesty, about you, or do you sabatoge yourself and readers, with sad hurtful lies, when you don’t practice searching for, and exercising, the truth about yourself.

And that is why you should vote for me brothers & sisters 🙇
