Post by Li 150 on Sun 05 Sep 2010, 9:58 pm

the master is in town Oct 14th & will be no doubt very thirsty, will require a lift home ( or taxi paid for) & of course will be scrounging his customary free ticket to the game.

Please feel yourself invited, I will be accepting beers from a bout 8pm onwards

I might make an appearance pre-match, so long as I'm not laughed at for drinking cider black.

I can run to a beer.
I may also run to a ticket. Problem is it's one of those free kiddies ones. I'll give my grandson a rest and you can try that, but I have no idea whether we'll get away with it.
I suggest you keep trying for a free adult ticket, and come to me as a last resort. Would hate for you to be turned away at the turnstiles just because you look over 12 years old!!

Oh, and the other bad is news is you'll be sat next to me, but whadya want....jam on it??

You're allowed to pay the difference and upgrade it to an adult ticket up to 4 times a year, I believe.....

I hope that's aimed at Li and not me Alvo!! :lol!:

    But thanks anyway! Thumbs up

Seem to remember a few mention they got away with it last season (adult getting in using the kids freebie), but I'll leave that for Li to think about!

well the only indicator to the stewards is the light on the inside of the turnstiles, which flashes green for full and red and green for concession, including kids, disabled and OVER 60's... if either of you used a kids one they would just assume it was an over 60's... lolol :wtf: :wtf: :ha ha: :ha ha: Sorry :fb11: :guin:

As long as I don't see you sneaking in a WKD I won't slag.

Could be a possibility for the Preston match depending on my work situation - should hopefully know by the end of September.
