I agree that is why I said it. Pointing it out however was, frankly, unnecessary.

To be completely dry about it however, Adam Sandler is one of the worst actors I have ever had the misfortune to see.

Watched 'Cemetery Junction' a couple of days ago. Had heard of bad reviews so wasn't expecting much but really enjoyed it. Set in the early 1970's, nostalgic look at a young lad looking to better himself. Well worth a look 8/10.

Saving Mr Banks...couldn't wait..took the family asking to see a highlight film of England's greatest ever keeper..just couldn't wait to see their faces when he flew down and across his goal to turn around a majestic header from one of the world's best.

So imagine my surprise to find Tom Hanks playing the father of Mickey Mouse...and Emma Thompson Mary Poppins mum..strange...very strange...but to be fair despite the usual Disney twist on actual facts...it was very bloody good...Emma Thompson..one of Britain's best..give her the Oscar...8/10.

I agree, a fantastic film without and unnecessary 'Hollywoodising' - shot and told as real as it could be. The scene where he has to give lashings to Patsy was horrific, and told superbly.

I went with my wife and daughter who both came away feeling quite upset. I don't think I can say it was enjoyable viewing but the sort of film you come away thinking 'I needed to see that'. Yes, the lashing scenes were pretty horrific, as were the rape scenes...think it will be in the shake up for the Oscars....

I don't think it has..the other part we found really difficult to watch was when he was left hanging within an inch of his life for what seemed like hours, we wanted to shout out, FFS cut him down!!!

Watched Class of 92...thought it was great..despite the hatred many folk have for them..what a bunch of down to earth lads.
Very well done..I am still amazed at the surreal turn Beckham's life took from his normal upbringing..and the lad is still so grounded..despite being a massive brand name...really enjoyed it..made me laugh the banter they had..8/10

I couldn't tell you what the last movie I saw in a cinema was. The last time I was in a cinema was to watch the last night of the Python O2 shows being streamed live. Loved it.
