And linked to absolutely nothing at all, are we the only club to have a players ban increased due to a frivolous appeal?
I see players having appeals turned down all of the time (Degan today) and yet I can't remember anybody else other than Fagan getting his ban increased.

Re: Just out of interest..
Interesting point, Loughie, so I did a bit of digging...
There haven't been that many, and naturally no players from "big" clubs have suffered (God knows how Mascherano escaped)-
Jerome Alliadiere (Boro, 3-match ban increased to 4)
Jonathan Douglas (Swindon)
Mikele Liegertwood (QPR, the ref was Mr Pratwell)
Chris Coyne (Luton)
Jimmy Smith (Sheff Wed)
Freddie Eastwood (Southend)
and probably more for small clubs

Re: Just out of interest..
the one that annoyed me was when Essien elbowed Miller and got a red card, not only did he not get done for "frivolously" appealing, but the reaction of the Chelsea and England captain, John Terry, during the 1st "respect the ref" campaign went unmentioned.....

Did Forest get the same punishment as us for the flag thing? They should have been hit harder if they didnt.

Re: Just out of interest..
5k more fine and they had to pay more of the costs than anyone else at about £1400 I think, hardly a punishment was it.
