Once the inevitable relegation is confirmed and Alsono sneeks off into the sunset, the best way for this club would be to have A massive clearence all the way from Morris to as far as Dorothy the Tea lady(keep her), reset the whole club and rebuild from the bottom with the fans running Derby County. If it takes 3 years to get back in the Championship then a further 3 years to get to the land of greed so be it GIVE THIS HISTORICAL GREAT CLUB BACK TO THE FANS.

    Relegation is far from inevitable.

There is nothing to suggest Alonso will do any such thing.

A massive clear-out....how would you propose we do that? Contracts must be honored.

I have no idea what you mean by, 'give this historical club back to the fans'. That suggests that the fans once ran the club...? We have never had, and will never have a say in what happens on the pitch...and rightly so.

I get what your saying...but our problems run far deeper than ridding the club of it's staff.

I'm glad we all agree Dorothy the tea lady should keep her job.

Silks is right. I'll go further and say there WILL be a clear out.

The 6 loanees will be away for a start although, if we stay up, it looks like Mengi will return and I'd like to see Edmundson come back as well. The others, thanks lads, success back at your parent clubs.

Of "our own", we have the following out of contract this summer:
    Andre Wisdom
    Jonathan Mitchell
    Florian Jozefzoon
    Jack Marriott
    Martyn Waghorn
    Scott Malone

Who to keep? Pay cuts all round for a start and for some even that won't be enough to want to keep them.
Wis turned down Champions League football to come to us, back to Austria as a free agent? He is one who can get more cash elsewhere and will, IMO, go.
Mitchell might come back as #2 to Roos but I think he will probably be let go. I can also see Marshall going. Roos appears to have got the nod from Rooney and the lad has not been a mistake looking for somewhere to happen which he was the previous season suffering from the hangover of his Wembley blunder.
Jozefzoon won't get a new offer.
Marriott, I'd have back on lower wages IF we go down. L1 is possibly his level.
Waghorn will be asked to take too large a drop in wages and probably won't accept it unless moving would upset the kids' schooling. He'll be gone IMO.
    Malone. No new offer IMO.

Marriott has another year - we extended so when he thrilled everyone at Wednesday we could flog him for a profit...because that always works!
